Adnan Sami puts on his acting shoes

Producer Bhushan Kumar’s wife Divya Kumar is all set to start shooting for her debut directorial venture. Though the cast has not been officially announced yet, a little birdie tells us that singer-composer Adnan Sami is in it.

A source tells us, “Adnan and Divya know each other and have workedtogether quite often. Divya has previously directed Adnan in most of his music videos. They share a great working relationship and are really comfortable with each other. The videos were quite a hit among Adnan’s fans and the audience. And now that she is venturing into feature films, she wants Adnan to be a part of it. She kind of considers him her lucky mascot and thus the role is being offered to him.”

Divya even directed a video Let’s go to Mumbai featuring Adnan with international musician Jermaine Jackson and has been an integral part of Adnan’s music career.

Though they are yet to announce it officially, Adnan is almost set to be a part of the film. Not much is known about his role or character in the film, but apparently Divya wants him to be onboard for her debut project, according to a source.

Divya’s film will revolve around college romance set in the future and is slated to go on the floor later this monsoon.
